Cosmic bodies with two opposite magnetic poles must possess a high thin and very stable equatorial belt established by magnetically trapped high-energy particles. The belt extends along the field lines toward the poles, like the van Allen belt. The number of slower particles rapidly increases only closer to the poles. Owing to the high-energy particles, the temperature is higher there than outside the belt; owing to rotation, the temperature and field maxima coincide. Irregularities and hot spots, arising from particle enhancement along certain field lines, are due to outer impacts.
