In the paper "Astro-2 Observations of Interstellar Dust and Gas in the Large Magellanic Cloud" by Geoffrey C. Clayton, J. Green, Michael J. Wolff, Nicolle E. B. Zellner, A. D. Code, Arthur F. Davidsen, and the WUPPE and HUT Science Teams (ApJ, 460, 313 [1996]), there are errors in Figure 1 and Table 3. Figure 1 is not properly labeled. Figure 1a contains polarimetric data for Sk -69 deg 239, and Figure 1b contains data for Sk -69 deg 270. Also, the plotted data are not corrected for the Galactic foreground, as stated in the figure legend and in the text. In Table 3, the entries for the Galaxy average should be N_{{H}i}/N_{{H}2}=10 and N_{{H}2}/E(B-V)=5x1020 .
