A survey of those meteorites that have struck buildings and people is presented. Included is a tabulation of some well-known meteorite showers which have occurred over the past two and a half centuries. A statistical break-down (after Halliday et al. 1984) of the probability that a building or structure might actually be struck by a meteorite is also included.
