New observational data of p-mode frequencies of intermediate degrees are used to determine the radial structure of the sun, assuming spherical symmetry and hydrostatic equilibrium. A solar model based on the solutions of the helioseismological inverse problem is constructed. A set of theoretical star models is calculated, assuming partial mixing in the core. The mixing parameters are estimated by comparing the calculated models with the seismic model.
