The present study determines the thermal energy which is released by the nonequilibrium beta-capture of ultrarelativistic electrons by nuclei in the partially degenerate matter of equilibrium stars in the quantum limit of the magnetic field frozen into their interiors. It is shown that, taking the number of quantum states of the partially degenerate ultrarelativistic electron gas into consideration, the thermal energy release differs quantitatively from the one due to nonequilibrium beta-capture processes in the matter of degenerate magnetic stars.
