The most conservative solution to the problem of the energy source of globular clusters reexpanding after core collapse is explored. It is suggested that primordial binaries could provide the necessary energy, and it is shown that this mechanism leads to relatively large core sizes containing about one percent of the total cluster mass. Such a cluster would have a resolvable core consisting mostly of binaries.
