The raw IRAS scan data have been used to map the region of sky around and including the SNR G109.1 -1.0. This SNR is of particular interest because it contains the X-ray pulsar 1E2259 + 586 which is the only binary system apart from SS433 directly linked to an SNR. The results presented here confirm the strong interaction between the expanding SN shell and an adjacent molecular cloud complex. In addition, evidence is presented for the interaction of the apparent X-ray jet with material within the shell of the SNR.
