The existence and stability of continuous steady flows in the vicinity of singular points arising in a set of one-dimensional gas-dynamics equations are studied. These equations describe the deceleration of solar wind on neutral atoms of interstellar hydrogen. The deceleration process takes place due to the photoionization and charge transfer of these atoms with the subsequent capture of the produced protons by the solar wind.
