New optical identifications are reported for 10 of 11 1 Jansky radio sources that were previously unidentified to r less than 23.5. The properties of the new galaxy identifications are discussed and comparisons are made within the sample and with the previously identified 3C and 1 Jansky radio galaxies. It is found that the broadband VIJK spectral energy distributions of each galaxy may be successfully fitted by a simple two-component model comprising a cool stellar population and a 'young' population with roughly flat spectral energy distribution. The new identifications have generally less star-formation activity compared with most previously identified radio galaxies at high redshift. The activity appears to be primarily associated with the radio spectral properties rather than the radio luminosity. The new identifications fit well onto the K-z Hubble relation that is defined by the 3C sample and the 1 Jansky radio galaxies.
