The soft X-rays emitted by Her X-1 in the 0.16-0.28-keV energy range were measured with the grazing-incidence RT-4 telescope on the Salyut 4 spacecraft. The measurements were made about 1 day after the start of the 'on' state of the 35-day cycle. A flux density of 0.6 photon per sq cm/sec per keV was recorded, considerably lower than that reported by other authors 2-3 days after the start of the 'on' state. The pulsed component contributes 15-20% of the X-ray flux.
