Radial velocity measurements were obtained for 18 galaxies in the vicinity of A1314, to aid in analysis of radio tails and of the relative motion of the parent galaxy. The radio tail objects IC708 and IC711 are included in the measurements. Mean cluster velocities, radial velocity dispersion, and total dispersion are found, as well as the radial velocities of the radio tail objects near the cluster mean. Membership of the two objects in a cluster is inferred. The e-fold decay time for the energy of tail particles is computed, and in situ particle acceleration in the radio tail is found. The use of radio tails as probes of extragalactic space in galactic clusters and for information on the time evolution of ejected radio components is considered.
