Observations of interplanetary scintillation at 81.5 MHz are described which indicate that the angular size of the pulsar in the Crab Nebula has increased by a factor of at least three over the period from 1969 to 1975. It is shown that this phenomenon cannot reasonably be explained by changes in the interstellar or interplanetary medium or by intrinsic intensity variations in the pulsar. The result suggests an enhancement of scattering in a region near the pulsar.
