By using Goedel's (1949) rotating universe model, it is shown that vorticity alone in a homogeneous universe could have an effect on the (number-count)/(flux density) relation. This effect is the same as evolutionary effects. The effect also shows in expanding models, where a spatial gradient also appears, generating an anisotropy in the number counts. The possible existence of a global vorticity of the universe is discussed.
