Photographs obtained at the Schmidt focus of a 2-m telescope are used to determine integral V magnitudes for 146 galaxies in the area of Abell cluster 193 and B-V color indices for 125 galaxies in the same area. Local maxima in the B and V luminosity functions are found at a B magnitude of 18.4 and a V magnitude of 17.2, respectively; logarithmic integral B and V luminosity functions are calculated. It is shown that the cluster galaxies are distributed according to brightness, with brighter objects concentrated toward the cluster center, that fainter galaxies have smaller B-V color indices, and that the mean surface brightness of the galaxies increases as diameter decreases. Many galaxies satisfying the compactness criterion are observed.
