It is well known that the strong winds of the early type stars modify the fluxes in the infrared and radio wavelength regions. This aspect has been used here to explain the infrared fluxes by the method of 'curve of growth'. Further, it has also been used to derive the excess flux at 3.6 micrometers, 4.8 micrometers and 12 micrometers and compared with observations. The effect of introducing a temperature gradient in the wind has also been studied.
