It has been noted that the innermost region of accretion disks around relativistic compact objects is unsteady under certain conditions. This paper presents new results of numerical simulations to demonstrate the overall behavior of unstable disks. The possible connection of this type of disk oscillations with the periodic X-ray time variability of NGC 6814 is discussed.
