A spherically symmetric isotropically expanding model of the SN 1987A envelope is constructed by comparing the observed H-alpha, Ca II 8600, forbidden Ca II 7300, and forbidden O I 6300 lines in the SN 1987A spectra with those calculated theoretically by the Sobolev method. A conclusion is made about the presence of a stratification of the chemical composition within the envelope. The electron temperature and the electron concetration distribution are determined for the inner and outer zones.
