Observations of the moderately bright A-type star HD 208509 have been made during the past two decades with the 1.2 m and 1.8 m reflectors at the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory. These data have been analyzed and a set of spectroscopic orbital elements, including a period of 28.8184 days, has been obtained for the first time. A small number of radial velocities obtained independently almost ten years before we began our observations have been used to confirm the orbital period found by us. The eccentricity, though small, is found to differ significantly from zero.
