Scientific paper
Between 1967 and 1993, 2700 double stars have been detected by the
author at the Cote d'Azur observatory. Several hundred show important
orbital motion. A new luminosity-temperature diagram is presented which
is especially suitable for double stars. This has enabled the spectral
classes of several binaries to be deduced.
