Results of a statistical investigation of the energy spectra of cosmic gamma-ray bursts detected in the Soviet-French APEX experiment on board the PHOBOS-2 spacecraft are presented. Strong bursts are shown, on average, to have harder spectra than weak ones. The time histories of strong and weak bursts are also different: strong bursts generally have harder rise fronts. The astrophysical implications of these results are discussed.
