A method for studying the viscous oscillations of rotating liquid bodies
which is valid for disturbances of any order is proposed. The basic
integral relations are derived, and a formula for the decrement of
oscillation damping is given. As an example, disturbances which turn a
Maclaurin spheroid into a triaxial ellipsoid are considered.
