Scientific paper

R,I photoelectric observations were carried out for 195 stars in the
southern hemisphere listed on the Bright Star Catalogue. These data will
assist in assembling a complete UBVRI catalogue of the southern sky for
stars brighter than V=5.0. The observations were carried out at the
40-in telescope of the Tonantzintla Observatory.
