The influence of the Stark broadening mechanism on line shapes and
equivalent widths in stellar atmosphere has been considered. The test of
this influence has been done for Nd II, Eu II and Eu III lines. For
calculations of the electron-impact widths we use the modified
semi-empirical approach (MSE).
