The alignment of grains under the influence of the Alfvenic waves is
discussed. It is shown that even small deviations from grain uniformity
result in the alignment of large (l greater than 6 x 10-5 cm)
grains. The latter result is important for the interpretation of the
infrared (IR) polarization data.
