Meteoroids, Asteroids, Earth, Methods: Statistical
Scientific paper
Statistical data on meteoroids with sizes smaller than 1 m and of different types according to their composition are used to predict numbers of meteoroids impacting the Earth in 1 to 10 m size range. A table of all 14 ever-precisely-recorded fireballs belonging to meteoroids larger than 1 m is presented. The majority of 10 m size bodies are cometary bodies of the weakest known structure.
