Sunspots are shown to contain three resonant layers, namely the chromospheric resonator on slow magnetoacoustic waves and two subphotospheric resonators on slow and fast waves. The resonators are coupled to each other by the wave transformation level. A qualitative model for combined oscillatory convection in sunspots is proposed. The proposed scheme is used to examine the three- and five-minute oscillations and the bright dots in sunspots.
