Reference sequences are presented with UV low dispersion spectra of standard stars exhibiting normal behavior in the UV range. The spectra were retrieved from the IUE data base and processed through the standard image processing software. A synoptic table lists the HD/BD numbers of the 229 stars in the atlas, together with their IUE classification. Flux tables and corresponding composite graphs are given for the full IUE range. The graphs have 2 A stages and the linear wavelength scale was chosen such that 100 A = 1 cm. Adjacent to the graphs are identification of the IUE images used, as well as basic astronomical data retrieved from the SIMBAD data base. Coordinates are given for the 1950.0 equinox. A set of 34 transparancies is provided for the most representative stars to allow direct comparison with the spectra and easy illustration of the spectral sequences.
