A new deep plate is presented of the IR Nebula in the Cha-I association showing its complex structure. Infrared photometry has been obtained between 2 and 160 microns of the associated infrared object, which has a luminosity of 14 solar luminosities and is likely to be a pre-main-sequence object, suffering some 10 mag of visual extinction in an almost edge-on disk. The dimensions of this disk are estimated and shown to be consistent with the nebular structure and far-infrared extent of the source.
