We present the results of two surveys of the status of women in Canadian astronomy during the years 1991-2005. The surveys assess the representation of women among at all levels of (primarily academic) astronomy, from entering graduate students to tenured professors. Data from the earlier survey, covering the period 1991-2000, showed that women made up a relatively small fraction of astronomers in Canada, representing 4% of professors, 7% of postdocs, and 12% of graduate students in the interval 1991-1996. However, improvement in the representation of women by factors of 3-13% was evident at every level during the period 1996-2000. This talk will focus on data currently being collected from a new survey, covering the years 2000-2005.
