This paper presents a tabulation of major activity in the NEB and EZ of Jupiter over the past 110 years, and considers its relationship to activity elsewhere on the planet. In the EZ, major episodes of orange colouration have occurred throughout the 110-year period, and their correlation with 'global upheavals' is confirmed. Recently, the years 1978-1981 were a classic instance of a global upheaval. In the NEB, there were violent revivals comparable to those of the SEB approximately every three years from 1893 to 1915. Since then, activity in the NEB has been less conspicuous, and any correlation with global upheavals is incomplete. However, major internal rifting in the NEB has coincided with SEB outbreaks in recent years.
