A spherically symmetric hydrodynamic code is used in the present calculation of a young Type II SNR, taking the circumstellar medium (CSM) built up during the red supergiant phase of the prenova evolution into account. The blast-shocked CSM hastens the deceleration as well as the reverse-shock heating of the outer regions of the supernova ejecta. Once the blast shock has broken out into the ambient medium, the reverse-shocked ejecta and the blast-shocked CSM may expand and cool until they are decelerated and reheated by a reverse shock from the ambient medium; the ensuing collision of the ejecta and the reverse shock results in both a shock transmitted into the ejecta and another reflected into the CSM. These subsequently catch up with the reverse shock from the CSM and the blast shock in the ambient medium, respectively.
