It is shown that the rapid oscillations of Ap stars discovered by Kurtz can be interpreted as a superposition of high overtone p-mode oscillations (n ≅ 40) with low spherical harmonic index l (l = 0, 1, 2), quite similar to the solar oscillations. A fine structure of triplets in the amplitude spectrum is evidence of the existence of dipole (l = 1) modes, while a slight, systematic departure from equal spacing of frequencies gives a strong indication for radial (l = 0) modes.
