The halfwidths of CO spectral lines have been measured in the 2-0 band
at 298, 198, 131, and 85 K using a high resolution spectrometer. The
temperature dependence of the linewidths has been calculated by applying
two semi-classical theories developed within the impact approximation.
The theoretical results are compared with experimental data.
