Possible molecular cloud sources for gamma rays detected by the Cos-B satellite are discussed in terms of an analysis of the observed angular distribution of the sources. Measurements were made of the half peak width of each source and the corresponding correlation curve along the galactic longitude. The sources 2CG 036+01, 2CG 218-00 and 2CG 235+01 displayed the largest angular diameters, sufficiently large to be representative of their sources. The sources must then be interstellar molecular clouds exposed to cosmic radiation due to the angular size of the source. One source, 2CG 036+01, was viewed toward the galactic center and possessed features of a single point source. Recent data have identified another source, 2CG 065+00 with PSR 1953+20, confirming that point sources can be the source of the gamma ray emissions.
