Examples of the treating of telescopic color-divided and polarized lunar pictures by a digital method are given. The typical optical regions of the lunar surface are determined and their visualization on halftone images is demonstrated. Seven sites on the western part of the lunar disk are investigated on the basis of optical parameters. The coverage of the lunar disk does not exceed 17%. Geochemical interpretation of optical parameters is discussed.
