The paper presents some spectral characteristics of the extinction towards and within OB associations. The Far-UV (FUV) colour excess is roughly constant for all associations considered here whereas its mean values for different associations are generally not equal. Thus the nature of the material causing the FUV extinction seems to be mainly of general interstellar origin. The distribution of this material is related to the spiral structure.
