The energy distribution in the solar spectrum in the 255-1060 nm range is obtained as a weighted average of the most reliable measurements. The reliability of each series of measurements was examined using an objective criterion. This involves a comparison between the color indices in the 13-color Johnson-Mitchell system calculated for one or another energy distribution in the solar spectrum and the normal indices of solar-type stars.
