Two geometric algorithms for the transformation of a set of selenodesic
coordinates are analyzed and compared. An external independent estimate
of the accuracy of the transformation is applied as a criterion of
comparison. It is shown that a seven-parameter algorithm is at least
twice as accurate as a 12-parameter algorithm.
