The results of 3 hr of photometric observations of the CP 2 star HD 128898 in July 1982 are reported. The pulsating object had a 6.8 min period and a B-amplitude larger than previously measured. A five channel power spectrum revealed that the signal amplitude is a function of wavelength. A temperature of 8000 K is calculated. Phase shifts were detected that suggest the occurrence of nonradial stellar oscillations, contrary to results from an oblique pulsator model.
