We present preliminary results from a 22 ksec ROSAT PSPC observation of the young, southern cluster IC 2391. At the field center the 2sigma limiting L_X is 5 times 10sp {28} ergs ssp {-1} increasing to 7 times 10sp {28} ergs ssp {-1} 40 arcminutes off-axis. There are 75 sources in this image with S/N >= 2.8. Of the ten new, low-mass cluster members reported by Stauffer et al. (1989), nine are detected in this integration. A comparison with the Hyades will be presented.
