Among the various candidates for dark matter, weakly interacting massive particles are very attractive. If they exist, they accrete inside stars, concentrate in their core and may strongly effect stellar evolution. Cosmion capture and annihilation in stars other than the sun is considered with some detail in this paper. The problem of energy transfer inside stellar cores is considered. It is proposed that matter is more efficiently cooled by cosmions than heated by nuclear reactions.
