The Voyager 1 and 2 Ultraviolet Spectrometers cover the spectral range from the 500 to 1700 Angstroms. These instruments have been used to observe a wide variety of astrophysical sources since their launch in 1977. Among these observations are many relatively nearby hot white dwarfs. In addition to far UV continuum radiation longward of the Lyman limit observed in most of these stars, several targets also exhibit spectra in the 500 to 800 Angstroms EUV band. The detection of such stars at these wavelengths implies that there exist lines of sight through the local interstellar medium having neutral hydrogen column densities of 10(-18) cm(-2) or less. These observations and their implications will be reviewed.
