New photoelectric UBV photometry in the open cluster NGC 5460 is presented for 155 stars brighter than 14.0 mag. In addition, six comparatively bright red stars in the cluster field were observed in the DDO and Washington systems. Nearly 40 percent of the observed stars are found to be members or probable members. The analysis of the new data yields E(B-V) = 0.12 +/- 0.03 and V(0) - M(v) = 9.34 +/- 0.20 (740 +/- 68 pc) for the cluster reddening and true distance modulus, respectively. An age of 1.1 x 10 exp 8 yr was derived, which places this cluster within the NGC 2516 age group. NGC 5460 does not probably contain any red giant.
