The restricted problem of three rigid bodies, when the two primaries are spheres, is analyzed assuming that the satellite is moving near the libration point L4. Moreover, the authors suppose that the differential equations of the orbital motion can be separated from the rotational motion: thus, the formal solution for the orbital motion given by Cid et al. (1985) is used. Then, a first-order solution for the rotational motion of an axisymmetric body is obtained by employing Deprit's method in the non-resonant case. It is shown that the resonant cases of the rotational motion can be reduced to a generalized Ideal Resonance Problem, in which the coefficients are functions of time.
