It has been shown that the high percentage of radio emission in galaxies of Byurakan classes 2, 2s, 4 and 5 in comparison with classes 1 and 3 is reliably observed only in barred spirals due to galaxies with both central and disk radio components. The radio emission of barred spirals more often than in other types of spirals is connected with the central regions of those galaxies.
