An abundance analysis of three S I lines at 6757, 6748, and 6743 A
observed in HR 4049 is presented. It is found that the S overabundance
derived from the S I 8694-A feature may suffer blending effects. It is
also confirmed that S is overabundant relative to other metallic
elements heavier than C, N, and O.
