Graphical representations of the galactic distribution of spectroscopic binary stars with known orbits and of the distribution of their systemic velocities are offered. Concentration of known binary stars to the plane of the Milky Way is obvious, but many cluster round the plane of Gould's Belt. With some exceptions, the velocity distribution is consistent with what is expected from the known motion of the sun with respect to nearby stars.
