A study is conducted of the effect of such nongravitational physical processes (NPPs) as photon drag and photon cooling in the formation of voids from negative density perturbations. The magnitude of initial density perturbation is obtained, using the same mass dependence as in the positive perturbation study of de Araujo and Opher (1988). It is found that the inclusion of NPPs generates drag, impeding underdense region formation and enhancing their present density. A specific spectrum of negative perturbations is discussed.
