The diffusion of scaler fields in a compressible medium with isotropic, homogeneous, and stationary turbulence is studied. Formulas are derived which hold for certain values of the characteristic velocity, lifetime, and correlation length of turbulent pulsations. It is shown that the velocity correlators, which change their signs depending on the space coordinates, may give negative values for the turbulent diffusivity under certain conditions.
