Kwok et al. (1989) have recently reported the discovery of four optically bright IRAS objects showing an unidentified emission feature at 21 microns. The detection of CO(2-1) emission from three of these objects, two of them representing new detections, is reported. The CO emission likely originates from the remnant of the circumstellar envelope ejected during the asymptotic giant branch phase.
